![]() ![]() Fighting a Tier 4 boss with a Tier 4 weapon won't do you much good if you're stuck wearing starter gear. What exactly does this mean? Basically, survival will now be less reliant on Soulsplit and more so on your defense bonuses. So what we've done is a combination of buffing armor/defense bonuses and rebalancing Soulsplit. Especially with Soulsplit being so overpowered. This really shouldn't be the case and makes it quite difficult for us developers to manage progression properly. Accessories will inherit a fraction of all bonusesĪs we all know defense bonuses on Athens have been useless for as long as we've been around. Armor (head, body, legs) will give the highest defense bonuses and will give significantly less attack/damage bonuses than weapons ![]() ![]() Weapons will obviously give the highest attack and damage bonuses but they will provide no defense bonuses How Will Stats Be Distributed Between Different Gear Types? There are 16 Tiers and every gear type within a tier will have the same stats. All relevant gear and bosses have been placed into a tier. The most important change we’ve made so far is that we’ve completely re-balanced gear and NPC progression.
